Bangor Christian Schools

BCS HISTORY

Bangor Christian Schools was founded in 1970 as a ministry of Bangor Baptist Church.Ā The school is now into its fourth decade of training young men and women to serve the Lord.Ā At its inception, the school consisted of 85 students and three faculty members in a rented building on French Street.Ā The Lord's blessings are evidenced by its growth and stability over the years.

FACILITIES

Bangor Christian Schools is situated on a spacious 35 acre campus.Ā Four buildings provide the facilities needed for operating.

A.Ā The main church building contains the church sanctuary, pastoral offices, business offices, elementary classrooms, elementary office, a regulation size gymnasium, athletic director's office, locker rooms, music rooms, and cafeteria.

B.Ā The high school building contains seven high school classrooms, a computer laboratory, and the Assistant Principal's office.

C.Ā The brick building contains the main office, administration offices, middle school classrooms, science lab, and the library.Ā

D.Ā The radio station contains the production studios and the offices of the radio station staff.

Also on the grounds are a regulation soccer field, junior high soccer field, baseball field, softball field, junior high cross country course, and an elementary playground.
